possible skin issue?

Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon - Veiled male, few months old
* Handling - often, once every day or so, however he enjoys it, he comes to my hand
* Feeding - cickets with a cricket food with xtra calcium, 10-15 crickets a dat
* Supplements - d3 once a week or 2 weeks
* Watering - gotta dripper, change it once every morning, spray about 2-3 times a day and i do see him drink kinda often
* Fecal Description - dark brown, slimey
* History - bought pretty young from a show

Current Problem -

his head has what i think may be irritated skin on his head, but it might just be coloring?
i just want to make sure. i included pix below of both sides of his head

You're only giving him D3? Its important to dust with a phos.-free calcium powder at most feedings to make up for the poor ratio of calcium to phos. found in most of the feeder insects.

Generally, D3 should only be given twice a month.

Hard to be sure what the black spots are.
 
That almost has to be a booboo, don't you think? Is there a supplement that is "d3 only"?

I suspect the poster knew that D-3 was important so that stuck in the mind while posting.
