My cham not eating enough

I have a 2.5 month old Chameleon that I bought 2 weeks ago, and Ive been feeding him small crickets, but seems to me not very small, lol. ANyways, I just wanted to make sure that it was okay that he isnt eating much, he eats about 2-3 crickets a day, I know its not much but just wanted to make sure its ok. ANy suggestions on getting him to eat more? Everything else seems totally okay with his health and I gut load and powder the crickets too. Maybe I need to put more crickets in his cage? I put like 8-9 in there in the morning and he doesnt eat them all.:(

Some chameleons eat more than others but as long as it is eating and drinking that’s the best thing. Is he drinking a lot, is the humidity staying up, and are the crickets correctly sized? 2-3 larger crickets can equal 5-6 smaller crickets. Hope that helps…

if he is 2 1/2 month old the crickets need to be SMALL. He should be eating anywhere from 15-20 a day of like 1/4 inch crickets.

Ok so the small crickets are definitely not that small most of them are like 1/2 inch bc the place I went to said those were small or smallest they had... I have a dripper for him and I mist his cage at least 3 times a day and the humidity fluctuates btw 50 to 80 %. But they are pretty big crickets but still a tiny amount

I just know when my chameleon was little he preferred the small crickets. If I threw a few large ones mixed in with the small he would eat the small.

My guy has a small appetite as well. Coincidently I got my panther from Chad too....I bet he's selling the weak ones and keeping the hefty eaters for himself :D

I usually throw 8-9 small crickets in there every morning and he only seems to eat 5 or 6 of them. He refuses to eat from my hand, and doesn't even look twice at small superworms. My problem now is that I purchased 1000 small crickets, and a week later I think they're too big for him =(
