For all of you out there who do your own fecals, I have a question. What kind is good enough? I have a 70$ one I believe, and u can see most stuff but, not nearly as clear as some of the pictures I've seen on here. I appreciate everyone's advice.

Thanks
Scott

I think the cheaper microscopes will do just fine with a basic fecal float. You only need the more advanced version if you want to do more complicated microscopy or higher quality pictures/video. I have a pricy one, but I love it

I also purchased a nice camera for it as I tried the cheaper around $30cameras and the quality was not good at all.

But I just love to play around with the microscope too so I wanted to invest in it. You can get a $20 one and see coccidia and pin worm ova if you know what you are looking for. You should Google the parasites and become familiar with how they look so you can spot them easily on a slide.
