lol yeah i was planing on trying to put veggies hanging. he is probably around 5-6 months
.
i gut load the crickets with kale, carrots, mustard greens, and whatever other extra veggies i have left over after feeding my bearded dragon.
and i have tried superworms and meal worms but he doesnt seem...
is it normal for my veiled chameleon to eat more of his ficus tree than crickets? i usually put about a dozen or two in his feeding dish and it looks like he is only eating about 6 or so but he has been munching on his ficus leafs like crazy! the top of the tree is almost leafless
im not saying that i scare him on purpose i meant that he just gets scared when i clean his cage or whatever sometimes and thats the only time that he is green.
i have had my baby translucent veiled for around a month and he is ALWAYS brown, unless i scare him. when he is scared or stress he is a really pretty green with all these pretty dark green and light green and some yellows lines.
i have a baby translucent veiled chameleon and he is somewhere around 1.5 months to 2 months old. i havent measured him yet but he is somewhere around 4inches give or take. right now LLLreptile has their 24"x24"x48" screen cages on sell so i figured i would go ahead and order one before the sell...
right now i have my baby in a little cage its about 1ft by 1ft by 1.5ft. and ive been cleaning it out once a week bc he poops alot. is that too often ? i dont want to stress him out more than i have to.
im look at getting my baby veiled some live plants but i cant decide on what. ive been told ficus, pathos, and hibiscus. can a cham eat all of these plants?
