Life Is good - new chams and others

It has been so cold here, that I would not have any thing shipped to me. This is the middle of December in the cold place that averages about 3f this time of year. Well this Monday thru Friday we are in the mid 50 to low 40's.:):)

Today was a perfect day. I received a quad, a johnstonii, 2 werneri, and my surprise - 6 red eyed tree frogs and one peacock gecko. I am a happy lady.

Currently the werneri have stolen my heart. They are so tiny and so cute, it is not possible not to fall in love with them. Carl C you are the best cham person. I never knew how sweet the werneri would be. I just thought they looked super neat. That isn't even close, they are perfect little guys.

I have been waiting for my johnstonii girl almost since she was born - thanks Craig and Bill. Long time getting here but worth the wait.

I also received a quad who is last in line from the first quad I ever had. She is so special, nothing compares to the offspring from my first quad several generations later. Thanks, Kevin & Bill.

Now we get to the red eyed tree frogs, Bill I wish you were hear to hear me scream like a little girl when one of them jumped onto my face and stuck. Ick slime. But after I got over the shock, I love them to. The little peacock gecko is nice to have. I have missed gecko's since I gave away my L. williamsi geckos. A great replacement. Thanks again Bill.

For those who don't know Bill is my - go to man - for reptiles.:):):)

If I could get pictures onto the forum you would see them. Hubby will be home this weekend and maybe he can get pictures on here. I have been unable to get pictures on here for months. Flikr hates me.

You are not unhappy anymore. It appears all you required was a couple new chameleons and amphibians. The shipping companies need to figure a way to ship herps that are in 30F temperatures and lower.

Best Regards

Thank you Jeremy! I knew someone would understand. If I can have exactly what I want I am happy. Why is that so much to ask?:D:D:D

I have to say it would not take a lot for them to become my favorite. But we will see - - I sure do love my quads. Life is all about change.:D

Thanks again, you made the day. Who knew we would get this weather in the middle of December, I know I yelled send fast, but I had no idea when it would be this warm again.

boxes with live chameleons inside always make the day better! Glad you got some new friends. I want to breed some frogs like Kevin.

Any plans to breed the peacock gecko? I've always wanted to keep L. williamsi, but I'm just waiting to find some for the right price. I think I may get some day geckos soon, they're really fun :)

Also, like what everyone else said, bring us pictures! :)

Wow I kept L. Williamsi geckos for several years. I can't breed my peacock gecko as I only have one. I feel sad for him, he is all alone. I still want a pretty crested gecko, I have wanted a pair for a year or two but keep holding off. The peacock gecko was not really planned ahead, but it is a sweet character.

My frogs came to me, from Kevin giving them to Bill and he passed them on to me.:) we practice excellent recycling.

Congratulations, Laurie. :) I laughed out loud when I read about the frog sticking to your face. He just wanted to say hi. :D I can't wait to see pictures of your new additions to the family.

Glad to hear you got a temporary break in the ice age so you can get some new friends delivered! Hope you have plenty of bugs to feed them! ;) (Most importantly, I'm glad you are happy! :D)

Yea I think we talked about them when I considered them the first time. Now I'm looking at day geckos because I didn't remember if that's what a peacock gecko was :p

My guy is about 4", that is tail and all, he looks like he has had gold dust sprinkled over him. I thought day geckos were the 8 or 10" long geckos with the very fragile skin?
