cage idea need input?

I was wondering for cage extensions could you get two 24x24x48 cages cut two sides off and then put them together? i know chams like height and to move horizontal. But would that be a good idea? I feel like My big boy could use more room then just one 24x24x48

Yea, totally. The easiest way to do it is to remove the screen on two sides but keep the frame intact, that way you have two flush surfaces to secure together.

Horizontal space is great for chameleons if you can provide it in addition to height. So I think it's awesome to make cages that are 3-4' wide or more.

I think I am going to buy another 2x2x4 cage and do you mean cut the screen out or take off like the left and or right side? and screw them together?

Cut it that way you have a stable area to connect the two together. BTW Petco has the XL 24x24x48 on sale with free shipping right now!

Make sure that the two cages are the same size. Some makers have a slightly different size, but round up/down and call it 24x24x38.

Depending on the cage mfg, no need to cut the cage leaving some possible sharp edges. You'll just need to pull the rubber seal from around the side you want to remove. Doing it this way, you could also reinstall the screen in the future if needed.
One thing that you may need to work out though. They won't quite sit flush side by side due to the latches for the bottom door hitting each other.

alrighty thank you!!! And I am also buying all the supplies to make your living wall :) Ill post pictures when i make it

Yaaaa! Please do. Be sure to put more sticks than you think you need. I am
