Whats with my mulberry chow?

Seems like my mulberry chow ALWAYS dries out wayyyyy faster than the pre-made chow that comes thru in the ready to go pods...

Anybody have this problem?

does this happen more often if its a smaller piece of chow? does it remain more moist when in a bigger mass?

never had that happen.

either your putting too much food and its not getting eaten on time

or you have too much ventilation and it dries out.
