Veiled- not laying eggs

I have a one year old veiled. This is my first go of it but as far as I can tell, she has eggs. She has been displaying Gravid colors for a few weeks now, but she hasn't shown interest in the lay bin in her cage at all. Now she is laying on the floor of her enclosure and I don't know what to do. I tried digging test holes in the sand and it seemed the right consistency. I might be over reacting but I just really want her to be okay. Please help.

I highly recommend you take her to the vets. She does look like she has eggs and if you get her there in time the vet can give her Oxycontin to help her lay the eggs. If she becomes egg bound she will need surgery to remove the eggs. Do you have a vet with chameleon experience? If not if you tell me where you live I might be able to refer a good vet.

Here's one in Dallas but I do not know anyone with personal experience with this vet. I know Houston is a ways for you but there's a good cham vet at the Gulf Coast vet listed right below Dallas.

What is that green stuff in the laying bin?

It's play sand. Thank you. I just called. The vet can't talk right now so I left My Number.

Is this a huge emergency or can I take her tomorrow? If it's a huge emergency I don't know what I am going to do and I am really worried :/

She was fine and up on a branch this morning.

The closest and only vet I could take her to tonight is an hour away. I dug a hole in the sand and picked her up to show her. She got stressed and climbed back onto a branch. Usually she doesn't mind me handling her. But just now she opened her mouth at me and Sunday when I cleaned her cage she didn't want time to hold her either.

If she were mine I would have already had her that. If you don't go tonight then I would have her there first thing in the morning. There's not many good chameleon vets. One of mine is 2 hours away and then the specialist he sends me to for serious problems and surgeries is 4.5 hours away.
