That was my guess but I've been seeing a few of them around at night and didn't know I'd the species was safe to breed and feed the worms? I guess I should've put that in my first post

Okay Im 90% sure it is a Hawk moth... but there seem to be many species of them, im not sure if they are all safe though...
Worth a try to breed them imo
Does the second set of wings have a reddish/brown area?

Yes it is! Or very closely resembles one... youll have to find some spurge for them to lay eggs on if so
