What are these??

The other day I bought some crickets at petsmart, and when I got them home there were some other strange bugs in the bag. I can't take a picture of them, but they were gray worm things, with little hairs all over them, and were about 1/4-1/2" long. I've gotten crickets at petsmart before and never seen these. What are they? Are they harmful at all?

the wrms are put in there to eat all the droppings from the crixs and to eat dead cricks. they r harmless and can be fed to ur cham but they dont have the best gutloading lol

Beetle Larvae

Those things are beetle larvae. They will turn into small black beetles over time. They can and will fly. They get into the cricket colonies at the cricket farms. I don't think they are put in with the crickets on purpose. They are not harmful in either form but don't contribute either. I don't want the beetles flying in my house either.
