Hey Everyone,

It isn't often we diverge too far off the road of chameleons and geckos but there are other reptiles that catch my eye from time to time. Well, I didn't think it would come around this soon, but I wasn't sure when I would have another chance to acquire one, so I jumped on it. :)


Varanus storri is a pygmy monitor that comes from parts of Queensland and the Northern Territory in Australia. With a total length of just 12", they are mini tanks and chock full of life and attitude. More pics are coming once the permanent enclosure is done.

great looking monitor!!!

whats the husbandry requirements on them? i know the care for my water and my savvy are alot more than i thought lol
 
YAY Luis!! While yours isn't 42" long like mine, you are slowly coming over to the dark side. :D (I'll PM you the e-mail address of the guy that I was talking about that is the "expert"...)
