Transbald Calyptratus (Veiled chameleon)

Just wanted to say about the inheritance from the parents. I have just hatched a clutch of Transbald babies, their mother has a tiny patch of white on both her back feet but basically looks normal. The father is completely normal and unrelated and the babies are a great mixture. 8 of them look normal 3 have white feet and tail tips and the the other 9 are white headed and white legged to quite a high degree. I think there is some evidence to say this is a co-dominant trait but there is a lot of work to be done with them yet.

what I've wondered is what about lighting, are the trans not more prone to getting burnt by basking and or uvb lights?
