no sperm plug

My oldest Nosy Be male is 16 mos. I have had him since he was 1 year. I've never seen him release a sperm plug. His first mating produced 13 unfertilized eggs. Is this related? I also have a 5mo. Nosy Be whom I have never seen a sperm plug released. Approx. when will this happen? Thanks.

I have seen plugs released as early as 3-4 months.

Yep my 4 month old Ambilobe just had a sperm plug. From what I read anything over 8" or so from tip to tip can start dropping plugs.

Yes, but how come my 2 males aren't releasing them? I see them all day.

You may never see a sperm plug. I had chams for a good number of years before I saw a sperm plug. Most often you will see one when the Cham does not get it all the way out, and it is hanging on. You seeing a sperm plug is not a indication that your Cham will or will not reproduce. Don't worry, be happy.
