my ambilobe is stressed

i have a beautiful male blue bar ambilobe that i free range in my room permanantly. he was always very happy until i got a small female ambanja. everytime he sees her hes ready to mate. she stays in an enclosure in my room as well. do you think my male is stressed because he can see her but cant get to her? please help me make panama jack happy

Yes, hes frustrated. He doesnt care if shes an ambi or a banja. All he cares about is shes a female and he wants her. If you want to continue to free range him. Then you will need to move her to another area in the house. If you dont he could start to show health issues from constantly being in a fired up state.

yeah i could tell that he isa very frustrated. hes been very dark and doesnt come out in the open like he usually does. thanks for the help

Also, if the female is able to see the male she may begin to produce eggs earlier than you want.
