For those who are not already familiar with this book, “Mountain Dragons” is the culmination of a year spent exploring the highlands of Kenya as Jan studied the chameleon diversity of the region, collecting data for what ultimately became his Ph.D. dissertation. This book is both an incredible reference and a beautiful coffee table book for chameleon enthusiasts, researchers, those interested in the fauna of Kenya, and undoubtedly a large group of people who will simply find the beauty of these animals as depicted in this book irresistible.
