@Brad is gonna kill us for turning the photo contest thread into a weather thread.

Please make sure you are reading the rules of the photo contest. Multiple members submitted more than one photo. You are only allowed to enter one photo.

There are additional rules for this contest that are not being followed for example...
You must own the full copyright to the photo.
The photo must show good husbandry.
The photo must be sharp and in focus.

Here is the list of rules for the photo contest. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/photo-contest-rules.102/

We received a lot of great entries this month. There are some very talented photographers within the community! Unfortunately, the number of photos exceeded our limit for voting. A limit is used to ensure the contest is manageable and to improve the voting experience for members. When the entry count exceeds the voting limit then a reduction phase is implemented. During the reduction phase criteria is used to grade and remove photos from the group until the limit is reached. The criteria used focuses on elements of photography and not the chameleon itself. Some of the photo elements reviewed include background and composition. Also, the reduction phase looks for photos that would be most appropriate for our annual calendar.

The voting limit is currently set to 50% of the previous month's voter count. This year we plan to decrease that number down to as much as 20%. We don't want to reduce participation or discourage members from entering photos. In fact, I'd love to see an increase in participation. Our goal is to improve the voting experience. Asking members to carefully review 20 photos before voting is a lot and some simply don't have the time to do it properly every month. As always we welcome feedback and suggestions on how to improve the contest.
