is this odd?

today when I was going to turn the lights off for my chameleon she climbed on the mesh all the way to the door and waited until I opened it then crawled on my hand. when I closed the door she crawled back on it and stayed there.is this odd? she is always scared of me. she usually never wants me to get her out.

You may want to check your husbandry. However my chameleon does this with me all the time however he is the most friendly soul
