Is it too big?

So im wanting to build my cage and I can't find any wire screen I found some hardware cloth that the holes measure 1/4 inch is it ok if I use that and just cup feed when I get him

that should be fine, doublecheck the density of the mesh and meter the uv before your build though.
I would hate to have you build it only to find out there isnt enough uvb coming thru the mesh for your cham
