Hi beautiful people of the forum! After years of trying to get a chameleon, i finally got it. Better still, a pair of it! Seems my life goals is complete. Attached is a picture of 1 of it. According to the seller, 1 is a male and the other is a female. And just now i got them a netted cage. And goodness! One of it changed to the netting colour, black! I was awed. I believe it's a he who frequently changed colors. But he seems to have a peeling. I will read more of this forum posts to know more about chameleon. Glad to be part of this forum though. Cheers!

Chameleons change color based on mood and stressors, not environment.

I hope that your "years of trying" included years of research.
 
I would also ditch the standing water, unless it is there to catch excess water from a dripper. Useless, otherwise.
