Getting new cage, what size?

I would like to get a larger cage for my panther chameleon when he is around 6 months old. Can I go directly to a 2x2x4 or should I go to an intermediate sized cage until he is closer to a year old? My current cage is 20"x18"x12".

At 6 months he should be ready for his "big" boy cage. How do you feed? Cup, hand, free ranged?

i 2nd this!! I'd go for the 2x2x4 and be done with it.

Thanks for the replies! He is fed free range. I like to watch him hunt! Will that be a problem in a bigger cage?

Shouldn't be a problem. Just monitor his intake just to make sure.

I start mine in 2' x 2' x 6'!

They're fine as long as you make sure the temps/water/light are ok and monitor food intake.
