I got Maia last november they told me she was approximately 2/3 months old, i feed her 4 to 8 midsize crix daily, dust them with repti cal no D3 started doing it 3 times a week but then i read they need allot so i began dusting them daily. I live in Puerto Rico, tropical island we get 83 to 88 degrees in normal day and drops to 70 in the night, humidity is always like over 40% to 60%.

Here is the cage:

In the morning the sun hits the whole cage the rest of the day its pretty much half like in the pic,so i guess vitamin D is ok, I have The Habba mist system it goes every hour since the sun dries it up pretty fast and I hand spray it once a day.

Here she is the day we bought her (nov)

I have a male and female that are both the same age. I notice my females rate of growth is much slower then them male. I actually think your female might even be bigger then mine. Do you weigh her too keep track of her growth? I weigh mine weekly.

No i dont weigh mine, what do you use to do it? I think she is between 5 or 7 months old , could you show me some pics of your veileds? how old are they??

I use a postage scale.
It really is useful to keep track of weight over the long run
I would have sworn my small female veiled hadn't grown, but I found that she actually increased by nearly 10% since last I weighed her.

Submitted for your consideration,
Tyg
