Cydalima perspectalis

They only eat the boxus species of tree supposedly. It is poisonous in its leaves. It is a low level toxicity, but nontheless bad. Is has steroidal alkalinity according to NC State. If you could get them to eat silkworm chow, or other safe alternative maybe. A lot of caterpillars will only eat the leaves from the tree they are plucked from. :( I do not see anything specifically saying bad for chameleons though, I would not recommend. Maybe one of the biologists or entemoligists will chime in with specifics. Good luck.
