I have had my new Veiled Chameleon out a few times today & all went well, He has been feeding really well but through what I have read if there brown then there quite content ? But mine has not gone brown at all , admittly I only got him yesterday & hes probably settleing in but I got a bit worried today after he was sitting on my hand all happy (Or what I thought was happy) (He was a dark green with dark lines) when all of a sudden he started to lean over on his side & went black ! I let him go back in straight away & he seems ok now, & hes eaten since.
Any ideas what this meant ?

It meant put him back in his cage. Don't hold him. Don't even stare directly at him for at least 2 weeks. Then handle him only when necessary.

Great advice given.

They are usually really skiddish for the first few weeks. Give him time to adjust.

Even then he may never grow out of it. This is how chameleons are.
