Closed Eyes

So it’s 6:30 now and my panther chameleon is in his sleeping spot with his eyes closed. Lights don’t go out till 8, so is this normal? He is perfectly active during the day and eats well, he never has his eyes closed during the middle of the day though. Is this just him getting ready for bedtime?

That can be normal. My Jackson’s puts himself to bed about an hour and a half before his lights go out. I’d just recommend watching him and if you see any other odd signs then let us know.

They will tuck themselves in early but they really prefer a sunrise to sunset schedule. 8pm is a bit late to still have lights on might reduce it to 7pm.
