As long as he is behaving normally, he should be ok. They are built to fall out of trees in the wild. Amy jumped off my hand when she was tiny - she was fine but I wasn't! Next time you want to add or change things I would remove the l'il fella first! Firstly, they hate change and, secondly, he was probably scared out of his wits with new things coming at him from all angles and panicked! I expect that he used his 'escape tactic' rather than fell. If I want to add anything to my chams cages I always remove them first - they get very defensive when anything new enters their zone.

If you're still worried I would take him to a vet. He should be okay though and sounds like he just had a scare and escaped "they leap when they do this", take hm out next time you go to change cage items around and remember they don't care for change to much.
