Campanula as gutload

Has anyone here used Campanula plant (aka Canterbury Bells, Harebell, Rampion, Creeping Bell-flower, Campanula Rapunculoides) as part of your gutload, or to direct feed to chameleons?

A friend feeds them to her tortoise and to herself (as as you would any leafy salad greens). Im growing some this year in the flower garden. I'm going to see if the crickets and roaches will eat it. Wondering if anyone else has done so?

I dont know about eating it, but Campanula medium Makes a great deer deterrent. They hate the smell and wont touch the stuff unless they are really hungry. I cant imagine eating it, it is very harry and tough. I hear the flowers are sweet though.
