Best Way To Catch A Locust?

Feeding my panther chameleon with a adult locust this morning and my Jack Russell puppy ran into me by accident while he was playing which made me drop it and since then I can't catch the little bugger

Is there any methods or traps that can catch locusts. Only can find cricket traps, would they work just as well?

Not sure about 1, but a good out door one is a simple bucket filled with enough sugar water to drowned the little buggers, then just place a domed light on top of it. They are attracted by the light and smell, hit the dome and fall into the bucket to their sugary death.
