    Celery gutloading?

The dripper is on all day, which is about 7am-9pm. I mist by hand (spray bottle) for a few minutes every couple hours. Here’s a couple pics that I just took, he’s all curled up because he’s ready for bed :)

    Celery gutloading?

Sorry that I haven't replied to my own thread. He has started drinking when I take him outside, but still won't go after water from the dripper or misting. I know he doesn't because if I go a few days without taking him outside to drink, his eyes are very sunken in and he's very desperate to...

    Celery gutloading?

I have a place that I go to about 45 mins away that sells them for a dollar per worm, no matter what size. It’s a bit pricey but I know a lot of places charge much more. So yeah, I’ll drive up there soon and get some. Thank you

Okay, thank you. I had been considering a vet visit so I’ll schedule one soon.

    Celery gutloading?

So if any of you have seen my recent posts, you know that my male panther has only been eating superworms. Apparently they have very little water content (which makes sense when I think about it considering they live in a cup of oats). I’ve been gutloading them but they haven’t been interested...

Are money trees toxic to Veiled Chameleons?

No I understand your logic and I can see how it would be controversial. I personally would not want to take the risk just because I've already had a bit of bad luck in the past, but I agree that it's hard to know for sure unless it's tested. Let me know how it goes, hope she'll be okay!

Hurricane Irma: chameleons under low pressure?

My boy is doing alright! He still is only eating superworms, so I'm going to have a fecal done just to make sure it's nothing more than a picky diet. Glad to hear you're doing well too!

    Only eating super worms

Wow, thanks for the input everyone! Once I get my next paycheck I'll have another fecal done. I had one done about a month ago, but right after that was about when she started getting picky so I'll do another just to make sure he didn't develop anything right after. I know there's been a lot of...

    Only eating super worms

I've got a male panther about 9 months old and the only thing he wants to eat recently is superworms. He used to eat crickets, loved dubias, loved hornworms, but he refuses to eat any of those anymore! We live in Florida, so at first I thought that he was just stressed because of the hurricane...

Hurricane Irma: chameleons under low pressure?

We covered up the window next to his cage as well, so yeah that's probably a factor. I hope you are safe!! It's too late for us to go anywhere at this point, but we'll do our best to keep ourselves and our animals safe and healthy.

Hurricane Irma: chameleons under low pressure?

Okay so I live just south of Tampa, Florida. Irma is headed right towards us and is looking to be a cat. 4. We may have to evacuate in which case I'm putting my panther cham into his old and smaller enclosure for transportation purposes. Right now, he's still in the 48x48x24in set up. He's been...

    Cham ate wild anole

Hello, I have a male panther cham, about 8 months old, and I had him outside today. I looked away for two seconds, and when I looked back he had a baby anole in his mouth. I tried getting it out but he swallowed it before I could. What should I do?? Please help, if he's in danger I want to get...

Chameleon died, please help me figure out why

Oh jeez, I think I must've been calling it the wrong thing. Sorry! By substrate packet I was referring to the urine, my mistake. And I don't keep the cricket food in the chameleon's terrarium, I keep it with the crickets. Just to clarify, you dust them right before the feeding? Because that's...

Chameleon died, please help me figure out why

Okay, I'll start using greens and veggies that are safe for chams if I get another one in the future. And yes should've given him a lot more water I always was a little unsure about that but everyone said that as long as the substrate packets looked fine then everything was alright, which they...

Chameleon died, please help me figure out why

All the nails he'd lost were on his front feet, and in was the back left knee that was swollen. He did have a toenail on the foot of that leg that had been dislodged but hadn't fallen out, but I don't think they were connected. I suppose they could have been, but wouldn't it have caused an...
