put my cham in a reptarium with some nice vines, etc. and he hasn't eaten for 2 days(it'll be 3 tomorrow). is this normal for him until he gets used to his new environment or is he sick? this sucks.
seems my veiled cham loves super mealworms and silkies almost too much. i've fed him up to 12 silkies/5-6 supers at one feeding(not both together though). is that too much? i almost have to beg him to eat crickets it seems. maybe i've spoiled him?
he's a full grown cham if that helps any.
i'm getting a 65 gallon reptarium soon and was looking into liner alternatives. my cham drinks out of his water bowl so that's not a problem, but i'll have to use something to catch the spilled water, poop, etc.
any ideas? would a cat litter type box work just fine?
my veiled has been getting crickets and superworms mostly but i did feed him a pinkie today. it took him a bit to recognize it as food but he did finally eat it.
anyone else feed pinkies to their chams?
got him really cheap. this included the chameleon, a 29 gallon tank:(, one branch, a skimpy fake vine, a feeder dish and a big water bowl. i have a 65 gallon reptarium on its way thanx to ebay and i had to go out and buy him a uv light.
he's getting fatter now that i've been feeding him...
