My female jackson was mated over 9 months ago, and is about 9 months pregnant. Latley she has restlessly been roaming around the bottom of the enclosure. She still basks in her proper spots and eats regularly so I'm not too concerned about a change in her health.
I know females of egg laying...
It has small white flowers. I found it and it looks like a great plant for my cham once it grows a bit. Anyone know what it might be and if it's safe ??

I scored this 24 inch fixture and bulb from work today. If I replace the blacklight with a UVB bulb will it work as proper uvb lighting for my cham ? Thanks !
It says t8 on the fixture

So my Jackson laid at least 4 infertile yolks today. She was mated with my male about 100 days ago.
Question: now that she laid these infertile yolks, does this mean all inside are infertile or is there still a chance she could be pregnant with fertile babies?
Thank you in advance .

I found this great rolling cabinet by a dumpster about a week ago. Here's what I did to turn it into an awesome enclosure:
First I cut out the 2 sides and the back. The front has 2 glass doors with heavy duty magnet latches.
Next I cut out the bottom which turned into my drain area which goes...
Long story short.. cham will only hand feed just stares inside cup when I try. Dad coming to town will be watching Chams for 3 weeks would like for Chams to cup feed .. any tips? I feel like he is spoiled and only likes to hand feed!
My female is finally old enough for mating, and it was successful on my first attempt.
Question: should I reintroduce the male into her enclosure again to make sure she gets pregnant ? If so how often? I basically connected the 2 free range areas with a log so he could have access.
See below...
Meet my new female Jackson Cera! She is about 3 months old and hopefully a pair for my male in the future.
Question How long should I wait before introducing her to the male? I was thinking about 6 months old. (3 or 4 from now)
She's a little skinny but eating a lot right now. A varied diet...
Going to look at this tomorrow (craigslist ad) how big do you think it is ? I have a jackson chameleon and just want to make sure it's large enough . Thank you
Top photo is from October 5th of last year. Bottom is now... look at that horn growth!
Question: how old do you think he was when I first got him ?? My guess is 5 months but not sure.. Thanks!!
Wondering if it would be acceptable to put a small scoop into the roaches container.
"Organic raw plant based formula"
I figured it would be good for bugs due to all the vitamins and minerals but potentially bad due to certain nutrients absorbed by my cham that we would otherwise avoid ? Your...
Wondering if anyone could share any ideas on feeder cups that can hold bugs that climb walls ? And not the vasoline idea... I have been trying new things without much sucess !! Thank you!!
See attached photo for my setup..
All fake stuff with vines and sticks that are natural. I got the glass from a shelving unit in the house .. the glass works really good. The basking light and uv are both adjustable. Right now we are just misting about 5 times a day. Will add a dripper...
I catch these and they have been awesome feeders to my Jackson for over a year now. They look like Dubia roaches but everyone says Dubias don't climb side walls. These can climb just about anything which confuses me... it means no feeder cup will work (which isn't a huge deal) do you think this...
See attached image.. I get these all over the compost and the cham loves them. When I am gardening he goes on his tree and looks forward to 1 of these. They are soft and walk like a caterpillar. Maybe turn into some sort of moth? (Compost is near outside light that attracts moths at night.)...
Last week I put my chameleon outside and he whacked one of these spiders off the web. Nothing bad happened so I found another one and hand fed it to him a few weeks later. He loved it so much I have never seen him so happy. His colors seemed to instantly show appreciation to the new morsel. I...
