Has anyone used trex composite decking to build their enclosure? I wonder if it would have any negative effects or chemicals that are released. It's not cheap but you wouldn't need a ton for an enclosure anyway. Has good water resistance...just a thought.
I had my panther in the basement for the first 3.5 years of his life. I covered 3/4 sides of his cage with plastic drop cloth material. Helps keep humidity and some heat in but still allows airflow through the front and top. Never had a problem and winter temps down there were prolly 65-67...
Just out of curiosity, is there a way to have multiple enclosures hooked up, on a single mistking, but with differing mist lengths? Say cage 1 mists every hour for 5 minutes but I want cage 2 to mist every hour for only 2 of those 5 minutes. Is that possible? Maybe by installing one of those zip...
Pulling up this old thread, good looking chams! I'm intrigued by the species and would love to know more about keeping them. What temps do they prefer? How often to mist/humidity? Supplements? Also, more about that dripper/rain pvc system in your enclosures?
