So my 6 month old Ambilobe is sitting at the top of the enclosure with his mouth open. He closes it every now and again but every time I look back he's got it open. Any ideas why he is doing this? I think its because it may be to hot in side (88.4)
The newest addition, A Blue Bar Ambilobe. One of Dragonfly56's babies she was selling. He's so sweet and is looking like he is going to have some killer coloring. I think I might like him more than I like philip... oh and sorry, i think i put this in the wrong section, if a mod can move it :)
my friend is a breeder of all things scaly, literally you name any species of reptile and he has it in his store. Anyways, I was hanging out in the store when he gave me a surprise, he got a jacksons in that was WC straight from Africa! I'm in love with this guy..I think I'm gunna name him...
I was installing the monsoon into my veileds cage. i looked where he was and he was up in the back corner of the cage, i turned around to grab the hosing and attached it to the monsoon. I went to close the door and he was midway through climbing out. He immediately turned spotted like a leopard...
so the screws on my screen cage got stripped somehow so now the sides fall off with the slightest touch. i had an extra tank lying around so i figured i could put my baby veiled in it until i can rake up enough dough to buy a new screen cage. its a glass exoterra, 18x18x24. since the uvb tube is...
okay well, not quite. But its pretty much the MistKing of DIY's. So this is what i did: The whole contraption cost 60 bucks after tax and everything. all of which i purchased at lowes. the parts are 2 quarter circle fan spray, an adjustable dripper, 3 mister risers, a 2 foot 1/2 inch poly tube...
How long does it take for a veiled to become full grown? and how often do they shed, i know it somewhat depends on the amount i feed him and a bunch of other factors, but on average, how often did your guys' chams shed :)
Other than crickets and fruit flies, what else can i feed my baby veiled? he is 3 maybe 4 inches, about a month old...i want to give him more to choose from cause it looks like he doesnt like crickets all that much. he is very...reluctant (for lack of a better word)...with eating them
okay so once my guy grows a little im gunna empty my closet put a screen door on it and use that as his cage. How big should my Veiled be before i start free ranging? he is only 3-4" right now and i think he is just WAY to small for free ranging, my room is naturally humid..like 58% humidity on...
okay so my baby veiled who we established was just about a month old, tops, doesnt look so hot. im giving him pin head crix, ive got the little dripper and i mist twice a day sometimes 3, i rarely hold him, but ive caught my mom holding him a couple times...which ive yelled at her for :p, hes...
alright, so is there anyway to tell if my little guy is actually going to turn out to be a high orange? and also any pointers or changes i need to make on his cage would be greatly appreciated :D (ive never dealt with a baby cham this small, and chams are relatively new to me)
okay, so i just got a baby high orange veiled. He's supposedly 2 and a half months...but he is just way to small to be that. how old do you think he is? He is just over 3 inches, hes the little guy in my avatar but ill attach a picture for you guys, thanks for the help :)
