how can i feed my dubia with out their food getting molded and dry?

i did attach a heating pad to their tank, but i am guessing its not enough heat. i give them lettuce,beets, apples, banana, oranges, carrots,bell pepper ( they don't seem to like it thou) peaches. i wanna start giving them cactus and green beans

im having trouble with my new set of dubia. i have put food in their tank and they only eat the lettuce,take a bite out of the carrot and leave everything else. want can i do?

i see, i was asking because i wanted to build a cage outside but the spot where i was going to put it doesnt get any sun until 11:00am and doesnt stop until sunset. idk if that should be a great ideal.

i have a question, how did u made your decision base on which part of your yard is the the cage going to be built? is it because it side that give the most/least sun? is it the way the sun rotating during the day?
