    Is this fungus?

It looks like hyperkeratosis to me, which is skin thickening due to lack of vitamin A, or other possibly serious factors. That is just my opinion. I would mention that to your vet. Do some research online about it, you may find some information after a while, though there isn't much about...

how long and often do pardalis mate?

There is no empirical evidence yet of the effects of Baytril in gravid or pregnant reptiles. However, if your female does have an infection of some kind occurring in the respiratory tract, it is crucial to treat at this juncture because of the immense amount of stress that she just underwent...

Lighting For the sake and health of your chameleon, click on the following link and read about lighting needs for your chameleon. I also copied and pasted the lighting section of the caresheet below. http://reptileuv.com/reptile-caresheets/veiled-chameleon.php "Chameleons require a source of...

Just an update on my chams since it has been so long!

I did try the vitamin A gel capsules, but to no avail. He actually opened one eye yesterday, and then closed it after an hour. My dad would be hooking the mister up to my house water for me as I am pretty worthless in that area and he said it would be coming from the water softener, so do...

Not sure if anyone cares, but I just wanted to post a little update on the kids because I haven't been on here in forever, I have been insanely busy, but now I'll get on more often to answer medical questions again :) So, of my 9 sternfeldi babies, they are growing like weeds, they are so...

Is this a male or female Verrucosus

I have no clue of the age and I'm sure LLL doesn't either, this is the one they are sending me in hopes that it is a female... I think they may have difficulty in sexing them. It could still be young for all I know and it also looks to have some green on the neck and I need to know if females...

Snakes and Reptiles for Sale or Trade

Here is the Verrucosus and Veiled. The verru is a sub-adult or small adult, so he will get more color the older he gets. I got him from LLL, he has always been healthy, I acclimated him in the natural sunshine, dewormed him, etc, and he is doing great. The veiled is developing his colors...

Snakes and Reptiles for Sale or Trade

These guys are still available! I am only selling on Cham Forums because I am comfortable with the people here, and I know that most of them take great care of their pets. Also, if they don't sell, I really don't mind keeping them. It surprises me that no one is interested in the CBB Fire...

    Verrucosus

Wow, your male is absolutely gorgeous! I have two males, one his size that has his colors, but doesn't look as good, and one that is bigger, has brighter colors, including blue. I attached his picture below. Does anyone know if they develop that blue color the older they get, or is it...

    Deremensis update

Me too, fenbendazole is more broad-spectrum, killing a wider range of parasites whereas pyrantel is limited to just rounds and hooks, so it is only good if you know the animal has those and only those. I always assume if an animal has one parasite that it is shedding, there are probably others...

Strongid is pyrantal pamoate, also called Nemex. It is a fairly "safe" dewormer used to kill roundworms, hookworms, and pinworms.

Google has something for this? I can upload images to google like I would Photobucket? I feel old with all of this technology
