Your Chameleon - panther 4-5 months old
Handling -once evey other week
Feeding - crickets 15 -20 a day. wax worms and mealworms once a week.
Gut load w/flukers ogange cubes
Supplements - repti calcium every day w /d3 ( i just learned d-3 every day not good) I just got him some with out d3
Watering - mist 3 times a day for a bout 3 min. Dripper on for a few hours. Yes he drinks alot and poop looks good
Fecal Description - black and white.
Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? no
History - Got him from kammerflage Kreations.
Cage Info: Screen 36h 30l 18w
Lighting - repti sun 5.0 45w basking light
Temperature - Basking spot 90. middle of cage about 75 bottem 70. Lowest overnight temp? 65-70 dig. therm.
Humidity - form 20 to 80 after i mist
Plants - Are you using live plants? yes pothos, replanted, washed.
Placement - spare bed room. harldy any traffic. At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? 3 ft off the floor
Location - Where are you geographically located? utah

Current Problem- possible eye infection. Left eye is swollen, hes not moving around much. still seems to be eating and drinking just not as much as usual. Moves really really slow.

Should I take him to the vet or is this somthing i can fix myself? Any imput would be great! Thank you guys sooo much!!!!!

its floresent, Iv had him for about a month..The first week I had him he wwas a bit dehydrated but thats been taken care of and hes been doing really good. I went and got him soome teramycinand have been applying it twice a day. But my real question now would be what would cause it to happen (the eye infection)so I can prevent it from happening again,

foreign object, dirty vines or branches (where he would rub his eyes), etc..

Keep his cage clean. Keep good humidity levels. Keep proper temps.

are you for sure your chameleon has an eye infection? we need pics...

i tryed to up load some pics and it keeps sayin upload failed. His left eye is like 2/3 the size of his right. Hes been moving slowly and blinks it alot. dosnt seem to use it as much to look around comared to his right...
