Amongst other things that other people will tell you the vet told me to try giving rose petals, carnations, and of course hibiscus. She said it might be hard to get the cham to eat it and I might have to offer it daily for a month or so until she gains any interest. My chameleon personally does not eat leaves or flowers but I am trying. She likes to kill hibiscus's though. I've also heard grapes are good. And leafy greens except spinach. Maybe kale and escarole.

It should probably be noted that Veileds will eat fruit and leaves/greens. A panther other than a very rare occurrence does not eat fruits/greens.

In addition to the safe live plants in the enclosure, I offer collard greens ... and that is all.
Dark leafy greens such as collards are high in calcium and readily accepted.
Use a clip to secure the greens to a branch in the enclosure.

There really are no stupid questions. You are doing the right thing and researching. No one here will get down on you for that.
Just wanted to make that point and wanted to say welcome to the forum.
