Hi all,

My name is Sonny, live in the Netherlands near Utrecht and i'm 31 years old.
2,5 year ago i saw the build of a Terrarium on the internet, the first thing that came in my mind was......i gotta make this terrarium myself asap!!!!!!!!!

Finished the basic frame to start with:

Half way:

And ended like this:

With windows:

Final result after 1 month testing:

When building this Terrarium i continuously was thinking about which Kameleon to take.......after a long time of thinking and searching i came to the conclusion i wanted a Furcifer pardalis Nosy Be....Gotta love the blue collor!!!!!

Finally, after waiting longer then 1 month the moment was there.
April 7 there was a market in Houten, after 1.5 hour of walking my Friend ChrisZ told me he had saw a good example and showed me the place.
There it was...the beautifull and lovely Nosy Be.
Have it almost 2 weeks now and he really found his day and sleep places.

Greetz Sonny

Best of luck with your new friend! He is very handsome. :) Great job on the enclosure. Welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the forums!!!

thats an awesome terrarium, great job :)

he is a gorgeous guy! looking forward to more pics of him as he grows :D

Thanx guys for the warm welcome.
My little friend is 2 months and 2 weeks old now, sleeps well and eat great.
I'm using timers for the lights so my buddy knows when it's nappy time (starts @ 6) and goes around the clock of 7 downstairs to his sleap place:D, @ 8 all lights turn off.

To give you lads an impression what hardware i use:

-2 x Solar reptor Led Sunstrip daglicht 900 mm
-1 x Solar reptor T5 HO / 39 Watt / lengte 870 mm + 1 x Solar reptor T5 Uv lamp 39 watt 5.0 UV-B
-1 x 75 watt Ralogen persglaslamp

Already had a Jewelspray system, which have been installed:

Made a alluminium plate to close the open space:

The difference since i've bought my buddy 2 weeks ago:

This is when i bought him: (2 months old then)

This is how he is at the moment: (almost 3 months old)

Really a big of a difference IMO

Very nice enclosure and very nice Chameleon. Welcome to the forum. Just curious. How do you manage drainage?

He mate,

I putted everything in Resin all around on the bottom up to the ceiling.
Plus, before i did that i kitted al corners in acrylate.
So everything is waterproof....:D:D:D

I never saw this thread so I never got to officially welcome you...so Welcome to the forums! I just love your set up and up you made the built in holders for the plants. Your chameleon is looking great and healthy!

You have put in so much effort, and WOW has it ever paid off. Your enclosure has grown in beautifully, and your Nosy Be is the greatest compliment to that said enclosure.
Well done!

Thanx guys, really appriciate the comments!!!
I've just made some new pic 5 min ago, so you get the idea how fast all my plants are growing!!
