Is My Tank Big Enough For a Chinese Water Dragon?

I want to get back into water dragons and I have a 55 gallon tank with a 20g tank upside down on top of it on one side with a blue potato bush poking up into it. The bedding is mostly sand but has some soil mixed in and on the opposite side of the 20g there is a 2 gallon water area from a small circle tank level with the sand. There is also a large aloe, and a couple climbing things. I will get a pic asap.

here is the tank.

Recommendations from a water dragon web page described a good setup as 6' long, 2-3' wide, 4-6' tall for an adult. A minimum of 2 times the length of the dragon so it can turn around completely. I'd agree.

Ok, just read of on a couple care websites and it says 3' x 3' x 4' is big enough. False or True? Would if I get a female
