Don't really know what to say. Think the lady gave us a sick beardie. There he was doing good with eating the first 2 days then bam he hasn't ate since. I don't have an extra temperature gauge to check temps. I know that he's stays in his basking spot unless we move him. His poop is green:(

When I got his he was on pine shavings and cage was FULL of green poop. Ihad a extra uvb light but can't find it now. Might have to clean out the old turtle tank so he can get some real sun. I haven't seen him drink either!

I'd say he definitely needs to see a vet hon. I'm so sorry :(

Push water, pedialyte, and baby food sweet potatoes

The not eating is the only thing that concerns me, I have had a beardie for a year and have never seen him drink. The eat lots of greens depending on their age for moisture, also try bathing them once a week. It helps them poop and absorb water through the skin. Green poop is normal for what I've seen in the last year as long as the urates are white. Ambient temps in cage should be 80-85 with basking spot reaching 95-100. What are you feeding him/her?

drip water on his nose from your finger. its the only way my beardie drinks for me...

He gets 3-4 crickets, 2 supers, romaine, sliced apples, canalope, kiwi, and carrots this week. They lady was giving him those Natural Zone Bites things for beardies and even admitted to not giving him fresh veggies and fruits for a couple of months. He had his first dubias 2 days ago and since then he hasnt been interested in anything else.

romaine lettuce is not a good thing to feed your dragon.. moreless any type of lettuce... it could be used on occasions, but its unhealthy for them. no nutritional value at all and it makes their stool runny and leaves an atrocious smell.. its like feeding a chameleon a mealworm .. no the fat part, but very low in nutritional value.. you should try peas! my beardie LOVES his daily pea Lol.

I would recommend soaking the dragon in 90* water up to his or hers shoulders daily. What is the age? Actually if you dont mind filling out the how to ask for help for that is under the health clinic section would be great.

From what you have stated.
1. Greens are great for hydration and despite what some will say they do have some nutrition and provide what they are esentially there to do which is to hydrate.
2. You have to give your animal proper temps. This will directly affect the animals appetite.
3. Use fruit sparingly.

OMGoodness sudden change in appetite

Well this morning I was expecting Freckles to not eat like he hasnt ate in the past couple of days. My son was in the reptile room watching him while I was in my room. Then my son came running to me saying "Freckles ate a cricket!" I wasexcited and hurried in to find Freckles chomping down on another straggler from yesterdays meal. This morning he ate 15 crickets! 15 crickets I couldnt believe it! Thats how many (plus some) I was feeding Ringo when he was 3 months old. Freckles is 3y/o o_O Guess he was super hungry! And hes still looking for more!

Yeah I wouldn't go as far as to say romaine is not good to feed and has no nutritional value to it. It has quite a bit actually. Now iceburg lettuce is a different story. Sure there are other greens that are better like mustard greens and Collard greens but romaine works just as well. As long as you give him a variety of a diet. We breed dragons all the time and constantly have new hatchlings every week if not every other week and have been raising them for years. We always feed romaine among other variety of greens, fruits, and protein bugs. As far as the water goes we don't ever put a bowl in there for them. Keep one side cool and one side hot for basking. If its an adult soak him in water once a week and spray the enclosure twice a week with a FINE mist. Babies should be soaked everyday if not every other day depending on how strong they are. They will get hydrated from the greens too which is another good property of the romaine.

Think you can give a list of what he absolutely needs. Right now I'm using a 60w house bulb for basking.... cant find my other UVB bulb,. Just to make sure no sand right?

Whats the temps suppose to be? He's in a 40g terrarium, should it be bigger? I'm hoping to be able to make a supplies order on 15th. So anything that I need plz let me know so I can add it in on my order.

Heres a pic of him

Depending on the distance the 60w might be too small. I always had 100w over my breeders. I only used lower wattage bulbs for the babies. Many dragon owners soak their dragons but they get most of their water from their food, as stated above.
