pin worm found on a leaf

I really appreciate the comments and now I am a little confused. Sounds like the majority of you think this may NOT be a pin worm after all. When I repotted my plant, maybe I missed something in the roots and this guy just crawled up the plant and died. Again, Rango is showing absolutely...

pin worm found on a leaf

Just when you think you have everything going smooth... Rango is my male (~ 1.5 years old) Ambanja. He is absolutely the neatest pet I have ever owned and I must admit, he gets more attention than any other pet I have ever had. I've had him for ~ 6 months and watched him shed and grow and...

Draco has a date coming over

Well... GOOD LUCK to the couple and hope they become entwined. I took my male Ambanja to breed with a gorgeous Ambilobe female and all they did was stare at each other. This went on for a week and a half and nothing. They put him in with her and then put her in with him...same...

    Question for Fl owners

I live in Tampa and have an outside enclosure for my male Ambanja. He LOVES the outdoors. If you keep your Cham outside, watch out for the ants! They recently found a dead cricket and swarmed inside. Luckily, I found them before they found my Cham, as I'm sure they would have munched on...

    mist king

I just took a plastic washer, enlarged the hole to fit the nozzle and screwed them together, compressing the screen in between. My nozzle comes out more in the front of the enclosure, not along the edge. It is secure, doesn't rattle, and there is no chance of ripping the screen wire...

    Proper Plant Drainage

take a small wooden dowel and line it up with the drainage holes in the planter. Run the dowels down through the soil and open up thesew holes. That should solfve the problem. Rocks in the bottom of the planter (as poster earlier) shjould also do the trick. Gary Tampa, FL

    Chameleon sleeping spots

My Ambanja male, Rango, (9 mos old) went to the same spot every night, curled his tail and slept like a baby. I had my main live plant start dying and had to replace it, but Rango still goes to the general vicinity to sleep. He never misses a night there. He's pretty darn punctual...

    Reptibreeze Cage Gaps

From your photo, it looks like the "latch" isn't latched. If it is latched, you could relocate it to the point where the widest gap appears and re-position the catch a little farther apart (re-drilling holes required). This would put more tension on the frames and close the gap. I built...

    Rango is still sleeping over...

Just an update on Rango and his girlfriend. I took him to the breeder last Friday...no interest between him or the female. At least there was no aggression. Both are 9-10 months old. Saturday...nothing Sunday...nothing Monday...1/2 day...nothing Today...nothing so far. Still no...
