My Chameleon, Daisy, won't eat crickets or mealworms. She loves flys so that is what I've been feeding her, but now winter is coming and flys are quickly disappearing. I've tried feeding her less often, but she still won't eat anything but flys. Any advice about getting her to eat crickets again?

I have an adult female side-stripe chameleon. Her body is about 4", so she is pretty small. She had 10 babies and I would love to keep one. Is it possible for an adult female and a juvenile female to live together? My enclosure is 18" x 18" x 36". The adult, Daisy, doesn't like to be touched...

Chameleon update Well my little chameleons are 2 weeks old now. I still have all 10. They love their fruit flys and 1 week crickets. The crickets however seem to die so fast, I'm focusing on the fruit flys. Nummy Nummy. None of them are showing aggression yet. Once in a while they do walk over...

One of my baby side-stripe chameleon is acting funny. He is less coordinated today and fell off his branch twice. I separtated him so I could watch him closer. The rest are all doing good. One week old today, yah! Any advice?

basking This morning when I got up a few of them had themselves all spread out just soaking up the warmth. They are such cute little guys, I'm glad their all doing good so far.:cool:

Uvb I do know that sun won't pass through, but its always good to hear again. I didn't used to know that when I had a beardie, but I learned. They have a 5.0 UVB light, the sunlight just seems to be enjoyable to them. :)

I don't overheat I've been watching to make sure they don't overheat, the sun goes through glass. There is a thermometer in the "sunny" area as well. :mad: On a bad note though, I ordered my pin heads and well over half are dead. I was here when the UPS guy came, so I know they weren't...

enclosure it is partly screened and partly glass. I know they need an all screen enclosure, so I am working on building one. Hopefully I will have it done soon.

Thanks Thanks I will try to sex them when they are a little older, they are so fragile, I don't want to upset them. They are eating so much :) I need to go get another fruit fly culture tomorrow. They are eating them faster then they are hatching.

All babies doing good All 10 babies are eating and drinking.The temp is 73. Its cute watching them drink. I've never actually seen Daisy drink, but I know she must. How often should I feed them fruit flies?
