Hey guys,
I have a baby panther chameleon that has a black spot on his head. It looks like it may have been a cricket nibbling on him or a bruise. Any ideas? Will he be ok? He has had it for a week or so now, and he has still been eating, drinking, and roaming fine. Thanks!
Hey guys,
I have a few baby panther chameleons that I am selling, but I've noticed that one or maybe two of them get a swollen eye. One of their eyes bulges out twice the size of the other, as if there is fluid, and they constantly blink to try and make it go away. I caught one of them trying...
Hey everyone!
Since May 23, I have hatched 12 sambava panther chameleons! They are still fairly young, but as they grow a little bit more, I would like to sell them to those local in Arizona who are interested! If you are, please message me so we can work out which one you would like, when...
Hey guys,
So after 11 long months of waiting, my Panther eggs are finally hatching! The first one just came out, and curled up against the side of the container (I didn't know what to do since it was the smallest egg first, so I took it out and put it in a smaller container with vermaculite...
Hey guys,
So my male panther chameleon Costello STILL hasn't eaten... and I'm getting fed up with him. I've tried crickets, superworms, wax worms and roaches and he won't touch any of them. His stomatitis is also coming back, so I'm going to be taking him to the vet again really soon. He's...
He actually has had a few, but I thought it was closer to feces due to the coloration. Weird eh? Ya, I've been trying to keep him hydrated by spraying him 2-3 times a day well, but he gets picky if hes gunna drink. Hes also dropped from 154g to 148g, so hes not losing weight significantly by not...
So my male panther hasn't been eating recently... at all... and hes been to the vet since august to help him with stomatitis. He seems cured, his teeth are just brownish still, and he hasn't eaten for a month. But just recently he defecated again, twice, and I thought the feces were a little...
Ya, chams will crush the worm to bits before they chow them down, ensuring that their dead. Its more likely for crickets to if any insect. Also, saying that your cham will die from eating a worm that's still alive is as likely as your cham crawling all the way to the top of their cage, falling...
Thx for the in depth reply. It is nice to know the depth of these supplements so I can do it right. As for the UVB, I believe I have the one you suggested, but I'll double check.
My female is doing great. She laid her 2nd clutch of 24 eggs a few weeks ago, and I've only lost one of those. But...
Im using the mineral mix, and the multivitamin I've added was literally 1/8 of the salt shaker, so its only a little mixed in pretty well. Ya, I've been ready to be spraying more since he always seems to jump at the sign of water and start lapping it up, and I've also been meaning to change the...
My male Panther Costello just recently got over stomatitis and still has some brown teeth, but he hasn't been eating at all for about a month now. He still seems up to weight, 150g-ish, and I haven't changed his living style besides improving the water (brita-filtered tap to RO) so I'm just...
