he ran of for about 3weeks ago when I had them outside in a net terrarium. the wind knoked the terrarium over and the male and one female ran of =( it was just pure luck that I found the female

Oh, that is sad :-( Do you still keep looking for him or have you already given up?

I keep looking untill the first frost (though I don´t think I will find him)

To cheer you up I know a man whose chameleon got lost in Spring and was found alive and in good condition in Autumn when all the leaves fell off the tree!
...so there is always hope...
