Maybe the more essential information would be descriptions of how his clutchmates were kept and their causes of death. Little jax can die from accidents such as aspirating large water droplets. They are tricky to raise according to many other keeper accounts (I have no experience trying). There could also be some congenital problem caused by inadequate care of the parents. Even at 2 months some of the clutch just aren't destined to make it.

I know his clutch mates were kept in an exo terra with a 5.0 uv bulb. i will ask the person to put some details on here.

you may want to move them from tha glass tank to a screen cage and my jackson love the water and they breed is saposto like a higer humitity than most chams i keep mine at about 75ish

I did think about moving him to a flexarium I have but didn't due to his small size but I may reconsider. In the uk the tremps wouldn't be a problem but they humidity would. I could use my automatic mister with my screen cage though. May be an idea to think about!

if humidity is a problem i wrap a sower curtin around 3 0f the sides of the cage during the day and that keeps it nice and humid i also use a modofied crane humidifyer to bump it up some more.

Bradley, you might be surprised with humidity in a screen cage. I certainly have been - I always thought it would be hard to get the right level with screen, but I have had no trouble at all! As you know, Monty is in a screen cage and my baby Carpet is in an exo. I have found that the humidity stays higher and more stable in the screen cage than the small 12 x 12 x 18 exo. Both are housed in the same room and heated in the same way. I only have plastic sheeting down the back of my screen cage, all the other sides are open. I am hoping to move Monty to his bigger screen cage soon so it will be interesting to see how well that retains humidity.

I wonder if me keeping in a exo Terra gave to much humidity or not enough fresh air and this caused repertory infections in all 3 and caused them to die.
This is the only thing I can think of that I might have done wrong.
Could this be a likely cause?

I put him in the flexarium and he is doing really well! drinking and eatibng lots and has been a greener colour most of the day. The basking spot is the same but ambients are around 60-65. he really seems to like it and using the automatic isting systm 5 times a day has really seemed to help.:D

Good to hear yours is doing better than mine did.
