Heat cable, 100 watt for leo cages?

Hi I was wondering if the heat cable really does work decently? I figured a 100 watt 39 foot cable should be enough to heat the 6 leo setups I have. The setups are plastic rack units, not to big. I just don't want 6 different heat pads in each cage.

Any info would be great. Thanks

I've heard heat cables arent the best. Under the tank heaters are the way to go if not that a regular basking bulb

Yeah what you want is a 12 hour light and night cycle like our chameleons. Get a day basking bulb, I have a 75 watt all living things for mine as well as an under the tank heating pad for digestion. The belly heat helps a lot with their digestion so I normally put it on the hot side under their favorite hide. Hope this helps you
