I have a nice cage and beleive I set it up correctly 13W UVB 65W for heat = only worry is humidity-- only reaching 50 - during day-- I did by a mister Monsoon and have a fogger-

am i ok at 77 degrees and 50 humidity? He is eating, looks deep green and since I did not set up monsson I am spraying twice a day,

any thiing else I can do?

What size & type is the enclosure? If its all mesh you might be better covering the sides & half of the top & leave the section that the lights sit on clear. Will still get plenty of air flow & will help maintain humidity. I tried all mesh enclosure years ago when i kept yemens & panthers. Just didn't work for me, with my ambient room temps/humidity. Just too much variation in temps & humidity. All my montane species have a basking spot in the low 80'sf & humidity spikes at anything between 90 & 100% directly after misting. Then drops down into the low/mid seventies over the course of the day. I do two mistings per day, once early morning & again in the evening, a couple of hours before lights out. using a simple hand held spray bottle.

I have the Temp and Humidity gauge about five inches from the top of the cage. It measure 18X12X24 came with the Jackson. I check this morning and the temp was 65 and humidity 60.

he seem to bask about 10" from the top - but not sure what the temp is right where he basks.

I have the Monsoon mister -- but have not set it up yet. The stream from the nozzle cannot be adjusted so haven't figured out where to place thee nozzle so it does soak the cabinet the cage is on.

I also saw a 24x24x48 that I might purchase-- seems nicer sized-- but then I would have to figure out if the 13W UVB and a 65W heat would be enough for the cage. I am using a zoo med mini dual lamp. States can handle up to 100 W.

i will take a pic today

You should get an Aquazamp or a Mistking. 10" from basking bulb seems far. How many watts is the bulb. I use a 40Watt at 7-8" from basking spot to get the temps required, but it varies from different locations you are located in.
