which feeders can bite?

Just wondering, because I don't like handling the feeders, which can bite?

I don't mind crickets but I have heard supers have a nasty bite.
What about dubies, waxes and locusts?
And in which order would you put them in terms of worst bite to least?

I have been told that Dubias don't bite. Crix do but I won't touch 'em, lol! Waxies are just cute and fuzzy and along with silkies don't bite. I have heard that superworms (Morios in the UK) can bite but I've not been bitten (yet!) The only food I have been bitten by was a locust! I was shocked! It was a definite bite that left a red mark on my finger and yes it hurt! Lol! Amy's breakfast bit me! I have only been bitten by the one locust in two years of having chameleons, but I am certainly more careful now!

Locusts bite? I wouldn't have thought that, but then again they will eat the dead ones, so I suppose they would! Gonna be more careful handling them now! Joe has been bitten by crickets and he said they really hurt.

I've been bit by superworms and locusts, didn't hurt. Just a pinch. I've been bit by crickets too, they leave a little red lump that is as itchy as hell. Thankfully my cham doesn't like them that much so hardly by them.

The locust that bit me was a biggun! It did hurt - I was surprised! Mine don't like crix much either so I don't buy them that often.

I had an adult male dubia bite me once, shocked the crap out of me, but didn't hurt. I still screamed like a little girl though!!! :D

The larger Horn Worms can bite as well. No feeder I am aware of bites to the point of blood...the shock and adrenalin rush makes the experience memorable though...
On Super worms and horn worms, grab the beast by the MIDDLE of the body, then they can't turn to attack you.:D

Shock and adrenalin rush - a perfect description, lol! I was shaking for ages after that damn locust bit me! Only consolation was that Amy made short work of it!:D

Those dang worms only bite me when I hold the middle of them!! I have to grab them by the head or close to it. the supers kind of hurt when they get your cuticle area.

Ive been bitten by a waxworm and morioworm...i guess to an extent everything can bite? Just depends how mean the bite is. From what I know crickets and supers are more commonly know for their nibbles! The others would only bite if aggravated! x

Ill say it like i tell every one that ask if my snakes bite. It has a mouth right, now if it hurts or not would depend on the size of it. Every thing bites though, just cowboy/girl up.
