Still waiting on my Trio.. So talk about cart before the horse, situation 
however, as this is going to be a trial possible breeding project I like to find out who has Bearded pigmys and if there is any trading of offspring going on?
I ask as I choose pigmys as They are charming little buggers, undervalued as heck even better prospects than some of the larger species IMOP.. for me the Size, housing and frankly these guys are better suited for the climate in New Hampshire.. I have room in my home, baring power outages.. not only do I have ideal temps year round.. My finished basement has a constant temp of 70.. winter/summer.. I have space for a LOT of cages, and due to the climate, DONT need to provide a ton of electrical input.. heating or AC..
Why I chose these guys they fit into the environment I have.. there are other species that are perhaps in some ways easier to breed, bigger price tags, or heck more viable in some way.. but.. also have some real limits too.. Kind of someone with a reptile room with berdies, lepord geckos, and Veild chams trying to raise and care for a Jackson.. yeh.. not going to work.. right?
sorry find these guys so interesting a species.. not to mention the ability to provide as NATURAL micro environment attractive
So, as I am starting with a 1.2 trio.. I may find myself with offspring, I have lots of space, so can keep every one if needed.. however the oh the parents are WC, so, As I like to "pay forward" with CB animals to lessen import pressure "IF" all goes well, Vs just hell sell the babies off to get rid of them.. I really would like to know.. are there others out there trying to do more than oh a few clutches out of the animals they have, or heck a one generation and out?? not a issue if one can keep importing.. We all know that is a issue.. look how few CB options there has been since the imports shut down.. any other fans want to try to change this?? any other like minded people out there?? want to network? I have no idea if I will succeed, but looking to find out if there is a option to do so.. BEFORE my first possible offspring
