Who gut loads with Bok Choy or feeds it straight to their Chams? Bok Choy has a really high calcium content. It is also very cheap at 1.20 per lb. Let me know Peace!! :)

I grow and eat a fair bit of it, so it gets used in my gutloading, in moderation. Chinese cabbage Provides Thiamin, Niacin, Carotene, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese. Similar to kale, in terms of oxalic acid content (some, but not too high like spinnach or chard). HOwever its on every Goitrogenic list, like most cruciferous vegetables (Broccoli, cabbage, kale) so it should not be a major gutload item on a regular basis. If you are going to offer a lot of goitrogenic foods, be sure to also include things like coconut (which is good for thyroid, might counteract)

I use it a bit, mostly for indian walking sticks, they seem to love it! More than they like bramble or dandelion anyway.......

As long as you steam it so that it's softer, yet still firm, it will be fine. I do this for my roaches with all of the cruciferous vegies, and they love it. :)
