Stabilized

What a wonderful word!

I have had Lily for 3 months now. We have had our ups and downs like many new Cham owners.

She is a tough one :) Had 3 homes before I rescued her at approximately 5-7 months old. She was a lucky Cham in her moves. Everything was far from perfect but nothing caused her any permanent harm. we battled coccidia, she had it when she arrived, had our first clutch of 28 eggs and I am starting to feel her Cage and our life together is finally getting stable!

Stable- the temps are staying at what is needed. Cricket survival rate is up from 10% to about 90% and gutloaded properly :)

When I see her in her cage doing her Cham thing i don't break out in cold sweats on "what or why is she doing that!"

When she sees me bringing her feeder cup she pivots to face her cage door. She puts her arms on the rim of the cup then eats. She poses on her legs, arms off the branch and ready to grab the edge I place in the spot about 2 inches below her.

I am starting to expect certain reactions at different parts of the day. We have an established routine.

Things involving our life together are stable!

I remember when I has happy with a stable hour, then a day:) This week we have been stable the entire week what a great feeling that is and I will take it!

I know things can change in a minute! Even a second can cause an extreme result but for today we are stable and running to the bank on this feeling!
